School Holiday Program: Tropical Blooms 11-15 January

Cost: $10 per child

Award winning Torres Strait Islander artist Brian Robinson has created workshops for 5 – 12 year olds inspired by his installation, Custodian of the blooms on display in TARNANTHI. Activities include weaving windmill spinners and making small angel fish sculptures from plastic strapping and paper as well as decorating and creating your own bloom garden from paper using templates provided by the artist. Tasks developed for this workshop look at how plants in the environment are used in creative ways by Indigenous people.
